Manchester Magic lost at home (61-73) on Saturday and away (79-75) on Sunday to Loughborough Student Riders, who were crowned League Champions.

On Saturday the Magic were led by Donte Gittens (15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals), with support from Lee Goldsbrough (12 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks), Ryan Lewis (13 points), Arinze Emeka-Anyakwo (8 points and 5 rebounds), Richard Bell (8 points and 5 rebounds) and Michael Anumba (6 points, 5 assists and 3 steals).

On Sunday the Magic were led by Stefan Gill (25 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals), with support from Donte Gittens (18 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and a block), Lee Goldsbrough (8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and a block), Ryan Lewis (7 points and 7 rebounds), Richard Bell (7 points and 6 rebounds) and Michael Anumba (6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists).

Magic have secured a place in the play-offs taking the 8th spot and they will face up again against Loughborough Student Riders in the first round.

Up next the Magic is the re-arranged trip to Worthing Thunder on Saturday 31st March at 7:30pm for Magic's final NBL Division 1 Men league game before the play-offs begin.

Manchester Mystics had the weekend off as the other two teams from their WBBL Trophy pool faced off with Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters coming out the victors, 67-58, over Durham Palatinate.

The next game for the Mystics will be on Saturday 31st March against Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters at 4:00pm at the National Basketball Performance Centre in the WBBL trophy.

Magic 2 Seniors beat Sefton Stars 100-72, they finish 8th in Division Four North with a 10-12 record.

It was fantastic performance from the Magic U18 to beat Myerscough College 86-84 at home on Saturday. The followed it up with an emphatic 92-47 victory over Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Juniors Sharks on Sunday to finish with a 15-5 record, they are awaiting other results to find out their final league placing in the Premier North.

Mystics U18 beat City of Leeds 101-38 at home; they have one game outstanding against Charnwood College Riders, the Mystics U18 currently sit in 3rd place with a 14-6 record.

Magic U16 beat Sheffield Juniors Sharks 78-63 on the road, Magic U16 finish Premier North Champions with a 15-1 record.

Mystics U16 beat Southend Swifts 75-45 at home, Mystics U16 finished in 6th in the Premier division with a 10-10 record.

Mystics 2 U16 lost 84-53 at Northamptonshire Titans on Saturday and then went on to beat Leicester Warriors 71-42 in their final league game on Sunday, they finish 4th in the North region, with 9-9 record.

Mystics 2 U14 stunned Hatfield Fliers to win 45-44 at home having lost by 34 points in the previous meeting, Mystics 2 U14 finish 7th in the North region, with a 3-11 record.

Magic 3 U14 completed their regular season with 70-46 victory at Stockport Falcons 2 on Tuesday evening. Magic 3 U14 finish 2nd on head-to-head record over Oldham Eagles, with a record of 16-5, it looks like they will just miss out on a place in the play-offs.
