BA London Lions 54-65 Mystics WBBL

Mystics WBBL moved to 10-7 in the WBBL Championship after a slender win on the road against BA London Lions on Saturday evening.

Mystics were led by Georgia Jones (14 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal), with support from Evelyn Ovner (15 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block), Sam Roscoe (19 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal), Natalie Chaloner (5 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals), Rheanne Bailey (5 points, 5 rebounds, an assist and 2 steals), Julie Page (4 points, 5 rebounds and a block), Rachel James (3 points, a rebound, an assist and 4 steals) and Jade Mbam (a steal).

Magic U18 96-59 Derbyshire Arrows - Play-off Round 1

Magic U18 advanced to the Play-off Round 2 after beating Derbyshire Arrows at home in comfortable style on Saturday afternoon.

Magic U18 will face Southwark Pride at home in the second round on the weekend of Saturday 6th April/Sunday 7th April.

Trafford U16 68-70 London Greenhouse Pioneers - Play-off Round 1

Trafford U16 crashed out of the Play-offs after a heart-breaking loss to London Greenhouse Pioneersin the first round at home on Saturday afternoon, bringing their season to an end.

Mystics U16 93-37 Sheffield Hatters 2 - Play-off Round 1

Mystics U16 advanced to the Play-off Round 2 after beating Sheffield Hatters 2at home in convincing fashion on Saturday afternoon.

Mystics U16 will face Derby Trailblazers at home in the Quarter Finals on the weekend of Saturday 13th April/Sunday 14th April.

Reading Rockets 95-85 Magic Seniors

Magic Seniors moved to 2-24 in the NBL Division One Men after a narrow loss on the road against Reading Rockets on Sunday evening.

Magic were led by Jonathan Barnes (31 points, 7 rebounds and a block), with support from Richard Bell (18 points, 11 rebounds, an assist and a steal), Saul May (13 points, 3 rebounds and an assist), Daniel Pilkington (6 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and a block), Ryan Lewis (10 points, a rebound and 4 assists), Malachi Boakye-Yiadom (7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal) and Luke Gordos (4 rebounds and 2 assists).

That draws to a close on a torrid season for the Magic Seniors, who finish bottom of NBL Division One and as a result will be relegated to NBL Division Two next season. We want to thank all our supporters for sticking with us through, what we're sure all will agree, has been the difficult journey this season; we hope to see you all again next year. There is still plenty of basketball to enjoy this season with a number of our junior teams involved in the play-offs and the Mystics WBBL side still have games remaining in the WBBL Championship and Play-offs to come.

Mystics WBBL 71-57 Sheffield Hatters

Mystics WBBL moved to 11-7 in the WBBL Championship after a compelling win at home against Sheffield Hatters on Sunday evening, to go 2-0 on the weekend.

Mystics were led by Georgia Jones (30 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals), with support from Sam Roscoe (15 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks), Evelyn Ovner (14 points, 12 rebounds, an assist and a block), Natalie Chaloner (6 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and a block), Rheanne Bailey (4 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal) Rachel James (2 points, 8 rebounds, an assist and a steal) and Julie Page (9 rebounds, an assist and a steal).

Up next for the Mystics WBBL is a home game against Essex Rebels on Saturday 6th April at 4:00pm at the changed venue of Platt Lane Sports Complex (Yew Tree Road, M14 7UU), followed by an away game against Nottingham Wildcats on Sunday 7th April at 4:00pm.

Magic U16 102-45 Liverpool - Play-off Round 1

Magic U16 advanced to the Play-off Round 2 after beating Liverpool at home in an dominate manner on Sunday afternoon.

Magic U16 will face London Thunder Lewisham at home in the second round on the weekend of Saturday 6th April/Sunday 7th April.

Magic U14 136-27 Tees Valley Mohawks - Play-off Round 1

Magic U14 advanced to the Play-off Round 2 after trashing Tees Valley Mohawks at home on Sunday afternoon.

Magic U14 will face Newham All Star Sports Academy at home in the second round on the weekend of Saturday 6th April/Sunday 7th April.

Mystics U18 play Team Solent Kestrels at home in the Quarter Finals on the weekend of Saturday 13th April/Sunday 14th April.
