Magic Seniors opened their NBL Division 2 North campaign with a crowd-pleasing win at home against Derbyshire Spartans on Saturday evening.

Magic were led by a mammoth performance from Richard Bell 21 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists a steal and 7 blocks, with support from Andre Gayle 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block, Kyle Elly 11 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals, Malachi Boakye-Yiadom 11 points, 2 assists and a steal, Jason Ani 6 points, 9 rebounds, an assist and a steal, Saul May 6 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal and a block, Bailey Goodall 2 points, 5 rebounds and a steal and Luke Gordos 2 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

Up next for Magic Seniors is an away game against Team Newcastle on Saturday 12th October at 5:00pm, followed by an away game in the National Cup Round 2 against Newcastle Eagles U23 on Sunday 13th October at TBC.

Mystics U18 66-76 Reading Rockets

Myerscough College 71-75 Magic U18

Magic U18 opened their Premier North campaign with a tense win on the road against Myerscough College on Sunday afternoon.

Durham Wildcats 89-55 Trafford U18 Cup Round 2
