   Manchester City Council

Manchester City Council has been our biggest supporter since the club was formed in 1997. Our partnership has enabled us to develop the Manchester Basketball Centre and establish the club as the largest and arguable most successful basketball organisation in England. We have a long-standing partnership with Loreto College, where a lot of our under-18 players attend. The club also supplies coaches to the college for all its teams, helping secure numerous national titles over the years. Click here for more information.

 

   Manchester Met University

Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester Magic are forging an exciting partnership on and off the floor. Two Magic players - Stefan Gill and Tyme Regent-Bascombe - have been awarded scholarships with MMU Sport for the 2016/17 academic year. The MMU Sport scholarship scheme supports elite athletes by providing personalised packages to support the needs of each individual to ensure athletic and academic success. Greenwich Leisure Ltd is a charitable social enterprise organisation that runs more than 250 sport and leisure facilities and libraries on behalf of local authorities in Manchester and across the UK. GLL has responsibility for the Whalley Range Sports Centre, which houses the Manchester Basketball Centre. Click here for more information.

 

 

The Manchester College is the largest further education college in the UK and the biggest provider of education for 16 to 19 year olds and adults in Greater Manchester. It formed a partnership with the Magic and Mystics in 2021, with the joint aim of building another elite basketball programme in the city. Click here for more information.

 


SUEZ operates the waste and resources contracts on behalf of Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). The waste management company, which manages 1.1 million tonnes of municipal waste from more than 1 million households across 9 Greater Manchester districts. Big Game Hunters specialises in outdoor sports and play equipment. It has been a key supplier to the Manchester Magic and Manchester Mystics community programme, providing portable basketball hoops, basketballs, bibs and cones for use at the Manchester Basketball Centre and at outdoor venues across the city.    Fostering Changes Life

Fostering Changes Life is small independent organisation who are recruiting foster carers. Fostering will change life for everyone involved, if you are a single person, couple or family who have a spare bedroom and feel you have the skill set to support and care for a child or young person.    Fusion Care

 

Fusion Care was founded in 2009 by our managing director, Ray Porter. A foster carer for more than a decade, Ray felt that some young people were being let down after leaving the care system. This founding principle has remained the ethos of the organisation. Fusion Care aim to provide support to young people aged 16 and over.
